These Terms of Use govern your use of SimpleRoid, a photo editing app, and of the simpleroid.app website. Please read them carefully before using the app.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using SimpleRoid, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use SimpleRoid on devices you own or control, under these terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.
If you downloaded SimpleRoid from the App Store, your use is also governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. If they conflict, whichever is more favorable to you applies.
3. Your photos and content
The photos, texts and other content you use in SimpleRoid remain yours. We claim no rights over them, and editing happens on your own device.
You are responsible for the content you create and share, and for having the necessary rights to it, including photos of other people, music, links and trademarks.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use SimpleRoid only for lawful purposes and not to use it to infringe the rights of others, deceive, harass or harm anyone. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or circumvent the app’s protections, including access to PRO features.
5. SimpleRoid PRO and subscriptions
SimpleRoid is free to download. SimpleRoid PRO is an optional subscription that unlocks additional features. Plans, prices and periods are shown in the app and in the store before you buy, and may vary by country.
Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price and length, unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
When offered, a free trial automatically becomes a paid subscription when it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
6. Cancellation, refunds and restoring
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in the store settings: on iPhone, in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions; on Android, in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and you keep PRO until then. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
Payments are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds follow those stores’ policies. To use PRO on another device, sign in with the same store account and tap Restore purchases in the app’s Settings.
7. Third-party services and trademarks
Some features rely on third-party services; for example, Spotify codes are generated by Spotify. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability.
SimpleRoid is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Instagram, Meta, Spotify or instant camera makers. The trademarks mentioned belong to their owners, and the Instagram post frame is only a visual style.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
SimpleRoid is provided "as is". We work to keep it running well, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet all your needs.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, SimpleRoid, including the loss of photos or other content. Keep copies of the photos that matter to you.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update. Continuing to use SimpleRoid after the changes means you accept them.
